Family Worship

Worship is central to our life together here at Evangelical Pres. Our family-oriented service of Worship is a time of praise, prayer, and preaching. The music is a blend of old and new, using a variety of instruments, and singing songs that are full of theological truth, turn our hearts and minds towards God, and lift up Jesus Christ. Sermons are sometimes topical and other times teach through books of the Bible from beginning to end.

A Nursery is available for children ages 1 through 5.

Join us for Family Worship each Sunday from 10:30-11:45am. To find out more about the Worship Ministry here at EPC, contact the Church Office. Contact EPC

 Community Care

Over and over again the Bible urges Christians to help the poor and the suffering. (For instance, Proverbs 14:31 says, “Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker, but helping the poor honors him.” Proverbs 19:17 says, “If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord—and he will repay you!” And Proverbs 31:9 says, “Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.”) Jesus Christ, Himself, while on the earth strove to show God’s compassion by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those who were hurting and helpless around Him.

Just as Jesus did, we believe it is our calling to help those who are suffering. Whether giving food, helping pay a bill, meeting someone where they are, as well as sharing the good news about Jesus with compassion: It all reflects God’s heart. Because ours is a team-approach, we are able to look into the needs of our neighbors and those around us with prayer, discernment, wisdom and each others counsel in an attempt to best help a particular person with a particular need.

Community Care offers free material help, emergency counseling, and spiritual guidance, as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also coordinate with our ministry partner, The Salvation Army, and are their ministry-representatives in Pike County. All are welcome.
